05:02:13 PM - 4th of July 2006 - Nursery at InshriachWe have heard from John that there's a wonderful tearoom (his words) called The Potting Shed, between Aviemore and Kincraig on the B9152. It is attached to Jack Drake's Alpine Nursery at Inshriach. It's basic, rustic and quirky but comfortable. From the windows of the observatory you can watch innumerable birds feeding. Red squirrels and even pine martins have been seen. He especially recommends the Scandinavian type cakes which ooze with fruit and cream. Sounds good. When we're up there we'll be visiting! www.drakesalpines.com/potting.htm
